Every iPad comes with one year of hardware repair coverage and 90 days of telephone technical support. The AppleCare Protection Plan for iPad extends your coverage to two years from the original purchase date of your iPad(1).
Legal:
(1) Service coverage is available only for the iPad and its original included accessories that are defective in materials or workmanship or for battery depletion of 50 percent or more from original specification. Equipment returned for service may be repaired or replaced with funtionally equivalent new, used, or refurbished equipment. (2) Availability of each option depends on country in which service is requested and location of Apple Authorised Service Provider. Service coverage may be subject to certain restrictions.
(3) Service coverage is available for battery depletion of 50 percent or more from the original specification.
